You don’t have to
figure it out alone.
Changes in sleep, comfort, mood, or intimacy deserve a conversation. Symptoms can have more than one cause; your evaluation starts with the whole picture.
Perimenopause + menopause
Hot flashes, night sweats, changing periods, and disrupted sleep can make daily life feel different.
Sexual wellness + comfort
Talk openly about vaginal dryness, discomfort with sex, or changes in desire, without judgment.
How you feel, day to day
Fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, and body composition concerns are reasons to seek guidance, not assume a hormone diagnosis.
Options, explained clearly.
Hormonal and nonhormonal approaches may be considered after an individual evaluation. Treatment is never automatic.
Perimenopause or menopause?
Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause, when cycles and symptoms may change. Menopause is generally confirmed after 12 months without a period when there is no other cause.
What is hormone replacement therapy?
HRT uses hormone medication to manage certain symptoms. Estrogen may help with hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal symptoms. With systemic estrogen, people who have a uterus generally also need a progestogen to protect the uterine lining.
What about testosterone?
It may be considered for selected postmenopausal patients with persistent low sexual desire after assessment. No testosterone product is FDA-approved for women in the U.S.; use requires a discussion of off-label treatment, risks, and monitoring. It is not a general energy or weight-loss treatment.
Are there options without hormones?
Yes. Depending on your concerns, care may include lifestyle support, vaginal moisturizers or lubricants, or nonhormonal prescription treatment.
Is hormone therapy right for everyone?
No. Your history, symptoms, treatment type, and personal risks matter. Your provider will discuss potential benefits and risks, including blood clots, stroke, and certain cancers, before recommending a plan.
What does “bioidentical” mean?
These hormones have a chemical structure identical to hormones made by the body. That does not mean risk-free. FDA-approved options exist; compounded hormones are not FDA-approved or proven safer. FDA-approved treatments are preferred when suitable. When compounding is medically appropriate, LifeSync partners with STRIVE Compounding Pharmacy.
